  • Sanctioning Authority

    Only TeamE3.in is authorised to organise Centurion Ride, Nashik Duathlon, Nashik Triathlon Events. 

  • Eligibility

    These rides are open to any amateur athletes.
    Any form of human-powered vehicle is acceptable for cycling events; ie, the vehicle must be powered solely by the rider.
    TeamE3.in has taken a decision not to permit athletes under the age of 15 years to participate in any Events of any distance (Subject To exception as and when provided).
    These riders (under the age of 18) must get a “consent form” signed by his or her parent or legal guardian.
    These riders (under the age of 18) must be accompanied by their parent for the entire duration of the event.

  • Registration

    To participate in an event, a participant must first become a member of TeamE3.in by paying membership fees and then sign a “waiver of liability”. Once an athlete becomes a member thereafter he can participate in an event by paying the event participation fees set by the event organiser.

  • Insurance

    Each rider must be covered by liability insurance, either by a group policy or by a personal policy. The responsibility of taking insurance coverage is of the athlete himself and TeamE3.in is not liable for same.

  • Responsible Behaviour

    During the event, each rider is considered to be on a personal ride. All riders are required to conduct themselves in a civil manner and abide by all applicable traffic laws and regulations.
    Riders are required to respect local customs with regards to decorum.
    TeamE3.in, other organisers, club representatives and their association, officials and volunteers cannot and do not accept responsibility for any accidents that may occur during the course of a ride.

    TeamE3.in reserves the right to refuse or cancel membership without refund for individuals who have:
    - demonstrated a lack of respect for Events, regulations and conventions;
    - been disrespectful in their interactions with organisers, ride officials, volunteers and fellow-riders;
    - conducted themselves in an unsportsmanlike manner at any events; or
    - disparaged any Event or TeamE3.in

  • Safety

    It is compulsory to wear a helmet for the entire duration of the ride. Riders without a helmet will not be permitted to start in Cycling events.

    It is compulsory for the rider to stick a cycle tag handwritten or otherwise on his cycle and the same should be clearly visible to others. The cycle tag should compulsorily contain 1) Name 2) E3 ID 3) Blood Group 4) Emergency Contact No 5) Emergency Contact Person. Riders not complying with this stipulation will not be permitted to start.
    The use of aero-bars is not permitted during a Cycling events. Riders reporting at the start with aero bars would be required to remove them at the start point.

  • Night Riding

    For night riding, bicycles must be equipped with front and rear lights attached firmly to the vehicle. Lights must be fully functional at all times (Spare lights are strongly recommended; spare batteries are compulsory). At least one of the rear lights must be in a steady (rather than flashing) mode. Riders not complying with all these requirements will not be permitted to start.
    Lights must be on from dusk to dawn and at any other times when poor visibility conditions exist (rain, fog, tunnel etc). Every rider, whether riding in a group or by himself, must fully comply with this requirement.
    Every rider must use their lights. All riders must wear a reflective vest that clearly places reflective material prominently on the front and back of the rider.
    Any violation of these night riding rules will result in the immediate disqualification of the rider.

  • Self-sufficiency

    Each rider must be self sufficient. No support cars of any kind are permitted during the ride.
    Personal support is only allowed at checkpoints. Any violation of this requirement will result in immediate disqualification (DNF).
    Personal Safety Vehicles are permitted, with the organiser’s prior permission and in accordance with the Safety Vehicle Policy
    If the organiser creates groups at the start, a rider could choose to leave the group at any time, as everyone rides at their own pace. No rider can be considered as group leader; any distinctive sign (jersey, armband, etc) or title (captain, leader etc) is not allowed.

  • Ride Attendance

    It is Compulsory for the riders to mark his attendance before the start of the ride, at mid point or other check points as decided by managing authority and also at the end of the ride. Riders missing to mark his attendance at any of the above designated location will be marked as DNF (Did Not Finish). It is the responsibility of the rider to approach the volunteer and get his attendance marked

  • Ride Route

    Before the start of the ride a link indicating the route and the location of the checkpoints will be uploaded on our website, the same may also be circulated through other telecommunication methods. Riders must stay on the route. If a rider leaves the route, they must return to the route at the same point prior to continuing, ie. no shortcuts or detours from the route, unless specified by the organiser.
    The only exception to the "no detours" rule is provided when a road is closed. In such a situation, the rider should first attempt to contact the ride organiser to obtain permission to take a detour. If the rider is unable to contact the ride organiser detours without permission due to a road closure, the rider shall report the route deviation to the organiser at the rider's first opportunity. If a detour is taken, the rider(s) and organiser are responsible for ensuring that the rider(s) have completed the required event distance.

  • Incentive Medals

    The Organisers have decided to facilitate riders who completes a pre-decided No of rides. For riders completing 3 rides out of 4 a silver rider medal, for 6 rides out of 8 Gold rider medal, for 9 rides out of 12 rides Diamond rider medal, for 12 out of 16 rides Platinum rider medal will be provided by the organisers. One who completes 12 consecutive rides a Super Centurion PLatinum medal and Gift will be provided by Organisers After completing a ride if a rider qualifies for 2 types of medals then only the highest rank medal will be provided by the organiser. The Organisers ar at liberty to change or discard this incentive medal at any point of time.

  • Recognition for Average Consistency

    One male and one female rider with best average in every ride in each age category will be awarded a Blaze Ride Badge. One rider will be selected maximum 2 times in 6 months Period. This will give opportunity to other riders also to achieve the blaze rider badge.

  • Time Limits

    Overall time limits vary for each ride according to the distance and Age. These are (in hours and minutes, HH:MM):

1. For riders with age 15 to 21 years
      Time: 4:46 Hr/Mn
       Distance: 100 km
       Average: 21 km/Hr        
2. For riders with age 21 to 50 years
      
Time: 5:34 Hr/Mn
       Distance: 100 km 
       Average: 18 km/Hr        
3. For riders with age 50 plus years
      Time: 6:16 Hr/Mn
       Distance: 100 km 
       Average: 16 km/Hr  

Riders must arrive at each checkpoint before the cut off time for the checkpoint. If a rider arrives at a checkpoint after it has closed, and the Ride Organiser is satisfied that the rider's lateness is due to the occurrence of something unforeseen and beyond the control of the rider (such as stopping to help at a traffic accident or a road closure), then the Ride Organiser may waive the fact that the rider arrived at the control late and allow the rider to continue.

Poor bicycle or equipment maintenance, fatigue, lack of fitness, injury, hunger, etc are NOT unforeseen or beyond the control of the rider and therefore will not serve as a valid reason for being late. Subject to the foregoing, failure to mark attendance at all checkpoints, even if the ride is done within the overall time limit, will result in disqualification (DNF).

  • Cheating

    Any instance of fraud, cheating, or deliberate violation of any of the Ride Rules of Nashik Cyclist will result in the exclusion of the rider from all events of TeamE3.in

    Cheating includes (but is not limited to):
    - Using motorised transport during a ride.
    - Hanging on to or taking the support of a motorised vehicle during a ride
    - Drafting behind a motorised vehicle or a cyclist (who has not registered for that ride)

    Riders who decide to quit the ride at any point are required to first inform the ride officials, before they avail of any form of support from motorised or rail transport. Failure to inform beforehand, would result in disqualification.

  • Ride Fees & Cut Offs

    For every ride online registartion closes 3 days prior to the ride day and briefing for the ride will be conducted 1 day prior to the ride. Registration fees for 100Km has been fixed at Rs.400 per ride if the payment is done online through www.teamE3.in. If registartion is done by mode of cash payment then Rs.100 Extra has to be paid. Registration post closure of online portal and spot registration will be allowed on double fees payment.

  • Commemorative Medals

    Centurion rides are not competitive events, so no rider classifications or rankings are given. Commemorative medals for each ride are available for purchase. Those wishing to purchase a medal should intimate the organisers or volunteers at the end of the ride and medals can be purchased by paying cash. The design of the medals may be changed whenever the organisers decide to change. The cost for the medals will be set by the event organiser.

  • Article 15

    A ride must be done alone and may not be counted as participation in, or as credit for, another event held in conjunction with it.

  • Article 16

    All criteria regarding the Centurion Ride in a geographical area, such as classifications, awards, challenges, etc are exclusively at the discretion of the Organisers.

  • Rider details and photographs

    When registering for a ride, the rider accepts and consents to the possible publication of their name, time result, and photograph by the organiser.
    The rider’s identity would never be used for commercial purposes or be offered to a third party for this purpose.
